Tariff threats from the US and the higher than forecast UK inflation print this morning have served to weigh on sentiment for equities, leaving the AIM All Share to slide in early trade and spend the session underwater. The index closed down four points at 720.13.

- Galantas +35%
- Tracsis +17%

Arkle Resources LON:ARK was the biggest riser on the day, up 50%. There’s no news out but today has been notable for some significant transactions and also a sharp increase in volumes. The spread is wide suggesting a lack of liquidity, but is something incoming?
- AIM Market Roundup: Metals One, Conroy Gold, Tekcapital
- Small Cap Stocks: Seascape Energy, Arkle, Mirriad
Galantas [LON:GAL] was in second place, some 35% higher. Again no news, but the stock has been under pressure for some time, so in the wider scheme of things today’s jump still looks modest. Volumes were also elevated by the spread is wide.
Tracsis LON:TRCS added 17% to get the notable mention, with news of a major contract win with the UK Rail Delivery Group having been announced this morning. No monetary details of the contract size have been revealed.
TheraCryf [LON:TCF] was 72% lower following news of a placing. The funds raised will be dedicated to the completion of pre-clinical development, with a smaller amount allocated to manufacturing of tablets for the Company’s other priority asset. The sell-off reflects the deep discount offered.
Inspiration Healthcare LON:IHC was 25% lower, with the stock giving back some of the gains posted off the back of yesterday’s well-received trading statement which we covered in yesterday’s note. Clearly some are taking the opportunity to book profits.
