Modest losses for the AIM All Share today with the index dropping by around one third of a point to reach the bell at 725.72, failing to match the more impressive performance seen on the main board.
- Metals One +27%
- Conroy Gold +20%
- Tekcapital +15%
- Arkle Resources -20%
- Gfinity -17%
Metals One [LON:MET1] was the biggest gainer, up 27% on the day. There’s no news here and the move was off the back of a small number of trades but this is reversing some of the losses seen off the back of funding talk two weeks ago. The move is however within the closing spread.
Conroy Gold [LON:CGNR] was in second place, up by 20%. An operational update on Thursday resulted in a significant volume of trade being booked but with no price reaction was this simply clearing out an overhang? Sentiment may have improved today, but the spread remains wide at 10%.
Tekcapital [LON:TEK] gets the notable mention off the back of this morning’s portfolio update, which saw net assets being assigned a value of $64m, 38% up YoY. Guident, the company’s one remaining private holding, is set to float on NASDAQ later in the year.

Arkle Resources [LON:ARK] was 20% lower but it took just one trade to do that, underlining a lack of liquidity that also explains the 60% spread being quoted.
Gfinity [LON:GFIN] was down 17%. The stock has had a strong run of gains over the last couple of weeks following funding news but it seems that there’s nothing more to the reversion than a degree of profit taking.
