AIM Market Roundup: Premier African Minerals, Ethernity Networks, Europa Metals

The AIM All Share Index saw another modest bump on Wednesday, perhaps underrepresenting the risk on sentiment that has been seen elsewhere off the back of Trump’s backing away from attempts to take over the Federal reserve. The Index reached the bell up just over three and a half points at 675.39.

  • Premier African Minerals +63%
  • Ethernity Networks +57%
  • Europa Metals +28%
  • Catenai -41%
  • CleanTech Lithium -28%

The biggest gainer on the day was Premier African LON:PREM, up 63% after the publication of a corporate update mid-session which saw the company confirm it had entered into a LoI with Glencore LON:GLEN. Gains were significantly more pronounced in the immediate wake of the news so sustaining the gains will be key.

Ethernity Networks LON:ENET added 57% on the day off the back of a trading update. The key point here appears to have been potential opportunities going forward regarding the adoption of application-specific integrated circuit (“ASIC”) design services.

Europa Metals LON:EUZ was 28% higher to take the notable mention off the back of disposal news. That netted the company £450k and although details of proceeds are still to be defined, that’s a significant proportion of the market cap.

Catenai [LON:CTAI] was the biggest faller, down 28%, but that still leaves the stock well ahead on the week following Tuesday’s significant gains.

CleanTech Lithium LON:CTL was down 28% following a note published this morning regarding an application to the Chilean government. CTL plans to appeal this ruling and believes it can prove compliance but the immediate reaction has been negative.
