The AIM Market has ticked higher again during Wednesday’s session, adding almost five points by the closing bell to sit at 851.92.
- Deltic Energy +47%
- Tintra +27%
- Music Magpie +18%
- Actual Experience -22%
- City of London Group -15%
Deltic Energy LON:DELT topped the board today off the back of news that gas had been found in an exploration well which the company is a JV partner in. There’s little additional news, but the company expects to provide an update once testing has been completed in around 30 days.
Tintra LON:TNT was the second best performer on the day, adding 27% by the close. There’s no news here but the move does see the stock recoup some of those losses picked up around the year end.
Music Magpie LON:MMAG gets the notable mention, up another 18%. On Monday the company reported that tie up with WalMart and this takes total gains since the start of the year to almost 70%.
- Small Cap Stocks: musicMagpie, Emmerson, Arkle Resources
- Three Quick Facts: JD Sports, AO World, Shepherd Neame
- Small Cap Stocks: Strategic Minerals, Clean Power Hydrogen, Deltic Energy
Actual Experience LON:ACT was the day’s worst performer, off 22% at the bell. There’s no news here but volumes were significantly elevated across a small number of trades.
City of London Group LON:CIN slipped 15%, extending those losses seen at the end of last year as the market reacted to a proposed delisting and liquidation of the company. There’s no further news here but with the cancellation now less than two weeks away, it seems few are seeing value even at this knock down price.
