BidX Markets launches spread betting platform with institutional grade pricing

BidX Markets, a recognised innovator in multi-asset liquidity and trading technology, has now launched its highly anticipated spread betting platform – a powerful and user-friendly trading tool designed to revolutionise the spread betting experience for professional traders in the UK.

A wide range of markets including FX, bullion, indices and shares are on offer to professional and sophisticated traders on a web-based platform, app and MT4. The platform has been built exclusively for spread betting, BidX confirmed yesterday.

Multi-asset, institutional liquidity

Traders can diversify their portfolios and seize opportunities across global markets with this new product that allows access to multi-asset institutional liquidity derived from Tier 1 banks, regional banks, ECN’s and professional trading venues. This includes use of EA’s, as well as advanced order execution, charting tools and fast execution.

James Roddy, HNW Professional Client Sales at BidX Markets – and the main point of contact for interested parties – commented on the firm’s expansion:

“We are delighted to be making the announcement that BidX Markets has now expanded its product offering to include spread betting for our professional clients – this move embodies our commitment to continue to deliver innovative and customer-centric solutions. What makes this product particularly appealing is benefiting from trading access normally only available for institutions, resulting in a lower cost to trade.”

Roddy said the launch came partially due to demand from sophisticated UK-resident clients who wanted an institutional trading solution that incorporated the tax free benefits of spread betting. BidX will continue to service non-UK clients using its existing CFD trading service.

The other major selling point for traders here is the access to institutional level pricing and the lower cost to trade, which is currently not available within the spread betting format with other UK brokers.

Advantages further extend to those who meet the professional client classification including access to leverage, bespoke margin call levels, no commission, out of hours trading on some instruments 24 hours, 7 days and more by arrangement.
