Berkeley Futures

Berkeley Futures is a London based brokerage house that offers clients the ability to trade a wide range of markets worldwide, 24 hours a day. Established in 1986, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Berkeley offers brokerage services in Futures, Options, CFDs, Forex, Metals and Equities and is a member of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX), the London Stock Exchange, London Metal Exchange and the Futures Industry Association (FIA).

Berkeley Futures is part-owned by Macquarie Investments (UK) Limited, a UK investment subsidiary of Macquarie Group, a global provider of banking, financial, advisory, investment and fund management services.

Accounts are available for Retail and Professional customers including Individuals, Corporates, Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), Trusts and Hedge Funds. Berkeley also offer segregated client accounts but no proprietary trading is conducted.

Berkeley Futures offers both an execution only and a tailored advisory service helping clients get the best out of their portfolio, using options to profit from a rising, falling or stagnating market place. Their advisory service concentrates on options to protect and enhance a client’s portfolio, offering added value gained by low/limited risk strategies to a client’s existing equity portfolio.

Berkeley offer a personal service where each client is able to speak to the brokers directly. Their client services team works hard to get to know their customers through frequent contact, understanding their investment goals and helping them to navigate through the financial markets.

Range of Markets

Berkeley Futures provides access to all world wide major derivative markets. This includes stock indices, interest rates, precious and base metals, agricultural commodities, energy commodities, financials, spot and forward foreign exchange and equities.

Berkeley Futures offer Direct Market Access (DMA) to the major world derivative exchanges through its range of trading platforms serviced in-house. They will cater for a multitude of third party providers and API connections too.

Clients wishing to trade Futures and Options online can choose from the Patsystems, CQG, NanoTrader, eSignal and Trading Technologies (TT) platforms.

The Berkeley iBroker and CQG Mobile platforms are available for clients (iPhone & Android) who prefer to trade on the move, while API compatibility and automatic trading is available for traders looking for a more sophisticated approach.

The Client Services team at Berkeley Futures are happy to advise their clients on the most appropriate technologies to use. The suite of platforms available may be a little daunting for less experienced traders.

Alongside Berkeley’s platforms, the broker offers a telephone service for traders who want to place orders over the phone.
