This week we look at Capita (LSE:CPI), a former FTSE 250 constituent that departed that index last week in the latest reshuffle. It was not a big surprise, as shares are down over 44% YTD. The company definitely looks like it is in restructure mode, but this is starting to drag on, and longer term investors will be wondering whether to stay on board.
Part of the lack of enthusiasm from investors has to be the declining revenues. These have been dropping steadily over the last five years. In Capita's case, you can't blame the pandemic. Overall investment sentiment has been ebbing since the end of last year, according to data from Stockopedia.
