Majedie Investments to host investor day

Marylebone Partners LLP will be holding an investor day for institutional and professional investors in London on 11th June, to showcase some of the distinctive underlying investments that feature in the Majedie Investments PLC portfolio.

Featured key speakers

Glenn Welling is the founder and CIO of Engaged Capital, a midcap activist fund based out of California, with whom the company have done several Special Investments including Shake Shack Inc.  Glenn will be talking about some of their current opportunities (and potentially a new co-investment that Glenn and Majedie are actively looking at right now).

Federico Riggio is the CIO of Helikon Investments, an eclectic European value manager.  Federico has delivered spectacular returns over the past few years, and he’ll be sharing perspectives on Helikon’s positioning in Greece, European Financials and gold miners amongst other situations.

Mike Norris is the CEO of Computacenter plc LON:CCC, is one Majedie’s direct investments.  He’ll be discussing how the company is positioned to capitalise on the structural growth story in IT infrastructure spending and sees itself as a ‘picks + shovels’ play on Artificial Intelligence.

The Specialist Credit panel will feature the senior decision makers at three very different firms: Pierre de Chillaz (Eicos), Nikhil Mirchandani (Silver Point) and Darren Toner (CQS).  Marylebone Partners sees significant potential in this area, making it a distinctive opportunity for the firm. The panelists will deconstruct the opportunity and share the real-world examples of how they add value.
