CySEC to ban ‘Bonus Offers’ ?

CySEC is apparently set to issue some directives to retail FX brokers that would result in the banning of ‘bonus’ offers to retail traders, i.e the “Open an account with £500 and get £500 cashback” type of offers that are so prevalent with brokers from certain regions.

If CySEC goes ahead and does this, Armchair Trader wonders if the FCA will follow suit and implement similar directives in the UK, which would perhaps shake up the UK Spread Betting industry somewhat, seeing as most marketing folk have viewed ‘bonus’ offers as a reason to open an account lately (it’s not a reason!).
