NorthIsle Copper and Gold (TSXV:NCX) is a Canadian junior miner exploring the Northwest Expo site, part of the larger North Island tenure in British Columbia. We recently spoke with the management team here about progress at their site, which has already had published a robust preliminary economic assessment, plus some early drill results.
The company is 8% owned by fund manager Michael Gentile of Bastion Asset Management (entering via a private placement), an active investor in the mining space at the moment (he is also the largest shareholder in Geomega Resources). NorthIsle is still seen a trading at attractive valuations given the size of enterprise value and M&I Resource (e.g. comparing favourably against the likes of World Copper, Arizona Sonoran or Kutcho).
