Podcast: How will AI impact the financial markets?

In this podcast, we talk about the impact of artificial intelligence within the financial markets with Bas Kooijman of DHF Capital. Based in Luxembourg, DHF has been making tailored financial products for institutional clients, as well as managing its own hedge fund strategies.

We discuss some of the big changes we are witnessing in financial markets at the moment, including the forex and commodity markets and the international demand for gold. Bas also talks about portfolio strategy including diversification and hedging.

Of particular interest are his views about artificial intelligence and its impact on financial markets. He tells us how DHF has been using AI within its own trading strategies for some years now. We discuss where investors and traders need to exercise some caution when making use of AI tools and what some of the likely outcomes will be within markets as AI tech becomes more widely available.

We round off with an interesting discussion on the wider impact of AI on society and the global economy.
