Steve Kelser, Executive Chairman of CleanTech Lithium LON:CTL, joins us on the podcast this week to update us on progress with this lithium miner and especially its Laguna Verda lithium brine project in Chile.
CleanTech Lithium is aiming to produce sustainable, battery-grade ‘green’ lithium to meet demand for the EV sector, but also wider demands for large-scale energy storage. It plans to use Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology to extract lithium from brine. Apart from Laguna Verde, it has three other projects in Chile’s famous lithium triangle.
On the podcast we discuss the advanages of lithium brine for makers of batteries, increasing global demand for lithium and how CleanTech Lithium fits into that equation. We also discuss the company’s new share offer for retail investors and why the board felt it was important to allow smaller investors to participate.
