Our latest Investing, Markets & Money podcast focuses on E3 Lithium TSXV:ETL – we caught up with CEO Chris Doornbos while he was on a visit to London. E3 Lithium is a development company, listed in Canada, which has massive lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) resources in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
On the podcast Chris updates us on progress with the company’s current projects and how they are leveraging historic oil drilling data in their search for LCE. We also discuss the quality of Alberta’s lithium brine and what makes that special, along with overall demand for lithium in the North American market.
Since the podcast was recorded, E3 Lithium has announced that it has successfully produced battery-quality lithium carbonate from its Leduc brines, using its demonstration-scale equipment operating out of its labs in Calgary. It is currently in the process of scaling up to full operational capacity. This is one to listen to if you are interesting in lithium mining stories.
