The solar energy market continues to grow rapidly as costs within the sector fall and governments continue to support clean power. In the next five years solar power is expected to account for a staggering 80% of growth in global renewable energy capacity.
On the podcast this week we have Ross Driver of Foresight Solar, who talks to us about the Foresight Solar Fund, including how the managers balance income and capital growth from a portfolio of solar assets. We discuss some of the headwinds the sector has faced in the UK but also the opportunities Ross sees developing for the future. We also look at the social value of solar energy investment and how that gets measured by fund managers and investors.
This is a very interesting podcast for those interested in learning more about solar power investing and its prospects.
