In December The Armchair Trader team attended the Resourcing Tomorrow conference in London. It was a great opportunity to catch up with the CEOs of smaller mining companies, investors, fund managers and analysts, and take the pulse of the mining sector.
One of the mining experts who joined us for a chat was Ross Allister, who looks after the mining sector for investment bank Peel Hunt. Ross provides us with a great overview of the junior mining sector on the podcast, and we look at the relative merits of listing mining companies in London, Toronto and Sydney. Ross also provides some valuable perspective on ‘hot’ mining sectors, mining and ESG and the role small investors can play in driving mining stock prices.
