Mushroom-based adaptogenics specialist Rritual Superfoods (CSE:RSF / FRA:0RW) said last week that it has completed testing on the first of its new superfood mushroom latte blend formulations, incorporating plant-based collagen enhancers as a key market differentiator.
This marks the first major product development we have seen from Rritual since the company listed in Canada earlier this year. It has also demonstrated to investors that, while there has been considerable work going on in the creation of its already impressive sales and distribution network in North America, Rritual has not been neglecting its product innovation.
New superfood latter powder mixes from Rritual
In the autumn, Rritual said it will be introducing two new superfood latte powder mixes to promote skin-deep beauty and to boost energy & cognitive performance. Rritual’s plant-based formulation, deploying Tremella, allows the skin to retain moisture and enhance collagen fibers to keep skin healthy and supple – beauty from within.
Rritual confirmed it would be rolling out a hot mushroom latte powder mix formulated with tremella, or snow mushroom extract, reishi and an array of botanicals and berries known to promote healthy and hydrated skin, nails, and hair.
The key active ingredient will be Tremella fuciformis fruiting body extract 1200 mg, an antioxidant-rich mushroom known to help maintain levels collagen which helps to keep skin hydrated, toned and youthful.

Rritual has been building a strong distribution network
News flow from Rritual has been considerable since it listed. This has focused on the key strategic distribution relationships the company has been putting in place with major drugstore chains and digital distribution networks like Amazon.
Rritual last month announced it had a distribution deal in place with CVS, one of the biggest drugstore chains in the US. CVS will be carrying the full range of Rritual products and plans to have over 1500 locations open by the end of the year, including stores that will specialise in health food products. Rritual will be working with CVS on the development of an in-store health education program.
