Small Cap Stocks: Landore, Tertiary Minerals, Mobile Tornado

The AIM All Share made modest gains once more on Thursday with hopes of a BoE rate cut in June helping keep the index above water by 3pm. The junior index is currently on track for its sixth successive day of gains, which would make for the longest winning streak of the year to date. At copy time the index was up around three points at 782.7.

  • Landore Resources +21%
  • Tertiary Minerals +17%
  • Robinson +15%
  • Mobile Tornado -24%
  • Thor Energy -14%

Landore Resources LON:LND stood 21% higher at copy time, topping the board and extending the run of gains that have been accrued since the start of the month. There’s no formal news out but volumes are building.

Tertiary Minerals LON:TYM was in second place at 3pm, up 17% following an update on its Zambian copper project. The company now has environmental clearance, with sampling work expected to commence next month.

Robinson LON:RBN saw strong gains this morning after a trading update included profit forecasts being upped. Shares were 15% higher at the time of writing.

Mobile Tornado LON:MBT gave back more of yesterday’s stratospheric gains as investors digested the available information and clearly some saw profits were to be booked.

Thor Energy LON:THR was in second to last place, down 14%. The company is in the midst of a capital raise which has resulted in shares for the Australian listing being suspended temporarily.
