Small Cap Stocks: Renalytix, Sancus, Crimson Tide

Small Cap Stocks: Renalytix, Sancus, Crimson Tide

The AIM All Share index has had what looks like a bumper session. Gains by 3pm may be a modest six and a half points but given the lacklustre performance seen of late, it’s worthy of applause and eclipses anything seen on the major European exchanges.

  • Renalytix +50%
  • Sancus Lending +44%
  • Faron Pharma +29%
  • Crimson Tide -33%
  • Cloudcoco -18%

Renalytix LON:RENX was up 50% by 3pm in the wake of news released this morning that the company had entered into a collaboration with the Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen to bridge the gap between novel technologies and clinical practice.

Sancus Lending LON:LEND added 44% on the day. Shares have been gaining ground since the end of last month following the publication of results but volumes have been declining of late.

Crimson Tide LON:TIDE was 33% lower at copy time, propping up the table. That comes after Ideagen disclosed it no longer intended to make an offer for the company. The sell off reverses the bid premium that was applied around three weeks ago.

Cloudcoco LON:CLCO was 18% lower. However the move comes off the back of very lumpy trade amidst a general lack of enthusiasm for the stock. The decline is notably within the spread being quoted at 3pm.

Faron Pharma LON:FARN gets the notable mention up 29%. That follows news of positive feedback from the FDA following drug trials. Lots of data here to absorb but the stand out seems to be a push for a bigger trial, with this being deployed faster.
