Orcadian Energy LON:ORCA added 29% by the bell. This morning management advised the market that terms for a farm out agreement had been reached, with the deal including the repayment of loans.
The notable mention goes to Parkmead Group LON:PMG which reached the closing bell up 28%, a far cry from the close on 70% rally posted this morning. The company has agreed the sale of some offshore licenses in a deal that could be worth well over £100m, many times its current market cap, but the arrangement is far from risk-free.
- Small Cap Stocks: Parkmead Group, Microsalt, United Oil & Gas
- Small Cap Stocks: Plexus, Parkmead, Proton Motor
Tan Delta Systems [LON:TAND] was the biggest faller, off by 26%. A trading update published this morning was upfront in noting that order delays would mean full year revenues coming in below previous expectations.
Beowulf Mining LON:BEM was the second largest faller, off 19%. The stock continues to chase new lows but the volumes are thin and the spread is wide.
