London’s AIM All Share tested fresh lows for the year during Friday’s session at 707.53, in what appeared to be an apt conclusion of a disappointing year for capital markets in general. At 4.30pm the Index had recovered slightly but still ended the day down almost a point at 711.05.
- Tiger Royalties +50%
- OPG Power +14%
- Amcomri Group +2.5%
- Tribe Technology -79%
- Neometals -35%
Tiger Royalties LON:TIR was the best performer on the day, adding 50% following the announcement of an acquisition, fresh capital heading into the business and an expansion of the investing policy. This latter point could be critical with the company looking at incubating earlier stage projects.
OPG Power LON:OPG gets a notable mention, up 14% following the publication of well received half year numbers this morning. Revenues and production rates were materially higher than the comparative figures and expectations are that the momentum will be sustained for the full year.
Amcomri Group [LON:AMCO] made its market debut in London today and we’re going to give this a plug in a bid to show there’s some optimism to be had. The shares were offered at 55p and traded up to 57.5p showing a modest premium. It’s hardly transformative but does offer some seasonal cheer.
Tribe Technology [LON:TRYB] was down 79% on the day after announcing a delay in publishing full year results. The company is struggling to raise finance and a cancellation of the stock looks inevitable. What’s more, the filing delay means trading will be suspended once markets reopen on January 2nd 2025.
Neometals [LON:NMT] is in second to last place after the company announced this morning that it would cancel its London listing of the shares in a bid to save money. The stock will remain tradable in Australia but many investors were evidently quick to sell down holdings, with the shares off 35% at the bell.
