Heading towards the close and the AIM All Share is battling hard to break into positive territory but as it stands the index looks set for another moderately negative close, off less than one point at 735.87.

Gfinity LON:GFIN was topping the board heading into the close, up 31% on the day following the publication of the company’s half year report. The company has undergone a significant pivot with revenues dropping by just over a third but the cost of sales fell by closer to 60% and management are promising further improvements in the second half.
Caspian Sunrise LON:CASP also fared well, adding 22% as we approach the bell. There’s no news out but given the heavy buying interest and the 7% spread, could an update be imminent here? One to watch given the not insignificant £60m+ market cap.
MPAC Group LON:MPAC gets the notable mention, up 10% with full year results offering the market some cheer. All key metrics were performing well, the company is debt free and momentum is reported as carrying well into the new year.
- Small Cap Stocks: Borders & Southern, GENIP, Smarttech 247
- Quadrise shares up over 300% in two-months
- Quadrise passes milestone test
Bowleven was the worst performer but with no news, a tiny market cap and a colossal spread we’ll instead look at CAP-XX LON:CPX which is back in focus, today trading 18% lower at copy time. The ailing company is struggling to cling onto the recent rebound, with notification of another big seller doing little to provide any confidence,.
And Quadrise [LON:QED] was also languishing, off some 17% as we run towards the bell. The company completed a discounted placing round this morning with the sell-off reflecting the value of the newly issued stock. An open offer is also being made to existing shareholders at the same price. The proceeds here would provide the company with sufficient working capital to get to March ’25 by which time projects in Morocco and Utah should be generating commercial revenues.
