SmallCap Round Up: Oxford Biodynamics, Saietta, Pantheon Resources

At 2pm, London’s AIM Index was essentially unchanged at 730.10, having spent most of the day trading just into positive territory.

  • Oxford Biodynamics +25%
  • Saietta Group +25%
  • Pantheon Resources +13%
  • Univision Energy -33%
  • Tasty -26%

Saietta Group [LON:OBD] is back on our radar, up 25% at copy time, in the wake of news that its Indian JV had received a purchase order for eDrives from a local light commercial vehicle manufacturer. Target volumes for year one suggest £11m worth of revenues could be seen.

Oxford Biodynamics [LON:SED] fared well again although gains were a more modest 25% compared to yesterday’s performance. This just appears to be an extended run of support from thatw ell received product release news.

Pantheon Resources [LON:PANR] gets the notable mention, up 13%. The company confirmed this morning that it had re-entered the Alkaid-2 well in Alaska.

Univision [LON:UVEL] was the biggest faller, off 33%. The company announced that a winding up petition against it had been delayed, whilst another lag in preparation of accounts means that the stock will be suspended from trade on Monday.

Casual restaurant operator Tasty [LON:TAST] was the second biggest faller by 2pm sitting some 26% lower. The company issued interims this morning which illustrated that the sector continued to struggle. Whilst some pressures may be easing, mounting losses and a falling cash balance could create issues although the business is currently debt free
