Stocknet Institute opens SI World: virtual funding environment for traders

UK fintech firm Stocknet Institute has launched SI World, a first-of-its-kind platform offering retail traders the opportunity to develop their trading skills and earn rewards in a low-risk, virtual funding environment.

The global online trading platform market is projected to grow to an unprecedented 15.34 billion USD by 2030, and retail trading hit an all-time high this summer, according to JP Morgan data. However, traders of all experience levels and disciplines are finding it difficult to navigate today’s turbulent economic environment and find providers that actually help them achieve success.

While platforms offering ‘live’ trading accounts are popular, they’re not always the best way to start your trading journey. Many people jump straight into the ‘live’ markets without being properly equipped with the knowledge and skill needed to trade successfully and are equally unaware of the consequences this lack of foundational skill can bring.

A new environment for traders to learn

SI World is directly challenging this approach by offering an alternative environment where traders of any skill level can learn, grow, and even earn rewards before jumping into live markets. SI World ‘citizens’ will be able to explore scalable funding experiences, a marketplace for buying and selling e-FX products, tournaments, education and career mode simulations, and more as they learn how to navigate the retail trading landscape – all designed with their support and education in mind.

Traders can also get a taste of the corporate trading world through the new Endurance funding experience, focused on honing risk management, profitability, and strategy consistency skills through a realistic two-phased challenge.

The firm’s staple funding experience Evolution, with already over 20,000+ participants worldwide, has been expanded as well to offer an increased reward rate, removal of most rules, instant withdrawals, plus instant account scaling. Sophisticated retail traders can scale their Evolution accounts to $1.28m whilst still developing astute risk management skills and getting rewarded for their progress.

Skill games for beginning traders: learn from your mistakes

In addition to its funding experiences, SI World offers a range of challenges that enable beginner traders to build up their expertise and gain an immersive virtual experience in the world of professional trading. Seven skill games (‘Sprints’) will focus on a different discipline, trading strategy, or asset type. Career mode simulation (‘Journeys’) will allow citizens to work their way to the top, fulfilling job objectives, and growing their industry reputation.

Traders will also get monthly packages containing new benefits like analytical tools, education content, journalling, and even an internal social community feed for traders to connect and learn from one another as they make their way through the platform.

“Trading is a serious skill that takes hours and hours to perfect, and it is the responsibility of those offering trading experiences to help guide and educate traders in an honest, supportive way,” says Nick Hall, Co-Founder and Director of Stocknet Institute.

Hall told us that traders need access to a safe, transparent virtual environment to do so before having to jump straight into live markets.

“We have built a solution that can support the newest beginner to the most seasoned professional,” he added. “Retail traders will finally have an alternative to the industry’s risky standard of ‘live’ trading accounts, and be able to learn, grow, and trade with confidence and with minimal risk.”

Originally opened in 2021 as a trading consultancy, SI today aims to offer traders of all levels the opportunity to learn, develop, and earn some extra income without the risk of typical retail trading methods and live trading accounts.
