Gold has been attracting more attention from investors over the summer months, as the usual heady cocktail of political uncertainty and symptoms of a slowing global economy have pushed the price of the precious metal past $150/0z on more than one occasion. It is timely, therefore, for ETF fund manager HANetf to be announcing its partnership with The Royal Mint.
UK readers will know The Royal Mint as the government institution tasked with minting coins. It was based in the Tower of London but moved to a new home in Wales in 1967. It also supplies coins to foreign countries. Over the years it has launched a range of precious metals products as it looks to reinvent its business and appeal to new customers.
The new ETC being launched by HANetf will be backed by gold bullion and will be made available to investors across Europe. Every ounce of gold in the fund will be stored securely in the Royal Mint vault. It is one of the UK’s most secure sites, and guarded 24/7 by state of the art security.

The gold-backed ETC will be made available in the UK, Germany and Italy in early 2020. No formal launch date has yet been set, but traders interested in the product should contact HANetf directly for further information.
