#1. Milestone reached for CleanTech Lithium extraction plant
CleanTech Lithium LON:CTL has provided the market with an update on its Direct Lithium Extraction pilot plant in Chile. The equipment necessary to run the plant has now arrived on site and should be operational by Q4 2023. The production target is set at 1 tonne per month of lithium carbonate equivalent.

#2. AFC Energy distribution agreement with approved Saudi vendor
AFC Energy LON:AFC, the provider of hydrogen powered generators, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with The Machinery Group of Saudi Arabia. As an approved vendor to many of Saudi Arabia’s large scale infrastructure projects including NEOM, the partnership is seen as a key way of developing the hydrogen powered generator rental market in the region.
#3. WizzAir August traffic stats show strong demand
Traffic stats for August from WizzAir LON:WIZZ show the low cost carrier continues to gain altitude, with passenger numbers up a further 24% YoY and load factors exceeding 94%. More flights do indeed mean more CO2 emissions, although fuller planes in August mean the output per passenger is down by more than 5%.
