Three Quick Facts: Eve Sleep, Cleantech Lithium and RM

*

Three things you need to know in the financial markets today from investment writer, Tony Cross.

#1. Eve Sleep: administrators appointed

A sad start to the week with news that Eve Sleep [LON:EVE] has appointed administrators in a bid to preserve value for creditors. The strategic review launched by directors of the company back at the start of the summer has failed to progress in any meaningful way. The note adds that the likely outcome for creditors is unknown and that shareholders should not expect to see any return at all.

#2. Cleantech Lithium update looks to cement recent gains

Cleantech Lithium [LON:CTL], the Chilean focused lithium miner, has this morning issued an operations and corporate update, coming at the end of the Southern hemisphere winter and marking the start of summer drilling operations. This is a relatively comprehensive summary of announcements that have largely been made already, most recently last week’s news of the brine testing with the new MoU partner SunResin. The pro-investment agenda by the Chilean government as they look to transition to a green economy also has the potential to be noteworthy.

#3. RM Group performance impacted by deployment of new systems

RM plc [LON:RM.], the providers of IT kit to educational establishments, have published a trading update for the current full-year which will be running to 30th November. Revenues are in line with expectations but profitability will be impacted by issues related to ERP implementation in the Consortium brand. Shipment volumes are increasing but remain below target, with management declaring that the challenges associated with implementing new system have impacted sort term priorities and financial performance.
