Warpaint London [LON:W7L] held its AGM earlier this month, telling its shareholders that projected sales in the first half of this year will be in the range of £50 million to £52m. This is up from its numbers in 2024 over the same period.
A question mark hovers over the course of Warpaint's US business, which management accepts has been hit by tariffs. Of the stocks we hold in the Armchair Trader venture portfolio, Warpaint London looks like one of the more exposed in this area.
The company said that it expected sales for FY 2025 to be heavily weighted towards the second half of the year thanks to a large number of planned product roll-outs, and seems very bullish on the prospects for Brand Architekts, which it acquired earlier this year and which does already seem to be adding significant sales volume.
