Vertu Motors (LON:VTU) is a car dealership group which operates over 150 outlets and represents 23 manufacturers across the UK. Formed in November 2006 with the aim of acquiring and consolidating UK motor retail businesses, the company has grown to become the fifth largest domestic motor retailer in terms of annual turnover.

In 2021 alone, shares of Vertu Motors climbed over 100%, outperforming many retail and institutional investors’ expectations. We look at whether the firm’s stock price can continue to climb in 2022, or if last year’s price action was just a false dawn.
